Papago Park is a hilly, desert park covering 1500 acres and is known for its distinctive red sandstone geological formations. The Park also has a wide variety of typical desert plants, including the giant saguaro cactus.

Canal banks are open for walking, running and bicycling in most areas. You can view a map of the canals, including distances between various points and information about “interpretive sites” along the canals.
